Fumak is one of the biggest wooden crucifices in Europe and is located near Porat.

The builder Petar Trp was born in 1934 in Turcic in Malinska. He emigrated at the age of 29 years with his family to Australia. After a short stay in 1970 on Krk he went to New York and then returned only in 1982, return to Croatia, but some relatives stayed in the United States or in Australia.

Mr. Trp wanted to create after his return something for future generations, and so he put more than a decade his time and money in the Fumak project. On the 61 meter high hill Fumak he built a cross and a Via Crucis. Especially long did the search for suitable oak trunks to the mighty Cross to build. Inaugurated in 1999 and is held annually on 14 September there is a Saint. Mass celebrated.

The technical data of the cross are immense, so is the entire height of 11.5 meters and the cross alone is 6.60 meters high. The Jesus sculpture is 2.80 meters tall (wingspan of almost 2 meters) and weighs 840 kg.
