The Federation Gothic style church was constructed of locally quarried stone in 1909 as the local Methodist Church, but became the Uniting Church in June 1977 when the Congregational, Presbyterian and Methodist churches combined Australia wide. The church consists of a single storey with rendered quoins and a gable roof. The symmetrical front has a double entry and gothic windows and stepped buttresses along the side.
An unusual feature of this church is the four foundation stones on the front, three with the date laid.
