In Honor Of: For all this nation's veterans, and especially for those of the city of Dickinson:

Marker Text:
Inscribed on a granite block:

For all this nation's veterans,
and especially for those of the city of Dickinson:

“Freedom and the dignity of the individual have been more available and assured here than in any other place on earth.  The price for this freedom at times has been high, but we have never been unwilling to pay the price.”  - Ronald Reagan
If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.” - Thomas Payne
To all those who have served, especially to those who have paid the price and borne the burden of preserving our  liberty.  A grateful nation can never adequately give thanks in humble gratitude.  This marker is dedicated to their memories to remind all that “these dead shall not have died in vain…”
