The Webster Memorial Library is an example Georgian Revival architecture. It served as the library for West Hartford for 20 years. It was built in 1915, designed by firm of Davis and Brooks, a Hartford firm. Funds were raised by the Sarah Whitman Hooker Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to build the library. A new library was built across the street in 1937 and the building was used by the YMCA into the 1950's. Today it is being used as a hair salon.
