The parish of our Lady of Perpetual Help was first established at a different site in 1933. The parish purchased this site in 1956 as the congregation grew. The current, dated, church was completed and dedicated in 1978. This cornerstone notes the start of construction. It is located just outside the main entrance to the church. Kept clear of the aggressive vine, it is outlined in the same red brick as are the openings in the bell tower soaring above.
