Once known as "Mitton House", this is now part of the |"Black Star" pub.
From the WhatPub website:-
At the end of the High Street and overlooking the canal, the pub is owned by Wye Valley Brewery and has a bright and airy feel.

The main bar has a real fire, low ceilings and cosy corners. At the back is the beer garden with a shelter, tables and raised flower beds overlooking the canal. Moorings are just through the bridge towards the basins.

The varied menu includes everything from doorstep sandwiches and baguettes, to ribeye steaks and everything in between. Special requests are encouraged. No food on Mondays or Sunday evening.
Year of construction: 1884
