The left panel shows the Gulf filling station that Kenneth Threadgill opened just north of the Austin city limits in 1933.

The middle panel shows Kenneth Threadgill centered on the map of Texas. Circling him is a Texas Flag, a man dressed in Mexican attire, a Cowboy, a cow, a boll of cotton, pine trees, a standing cowboy with lariat, an oil well, the Alamo, and an armadillo.

The right panel shows the Armadillo Restaurant.
