Wrought iron, twin-fluke ship's anchor located at the entrance to the HMCS Bytown Naval Officer's Mess on Lisgar Avenue in downtown Ottawa.

The Mess was established in 1943 to serve the needs of Royal Canadian Navy Officers who were stationed at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa during World War II.
