The wooden sculpture is about 3 ft tall and sits in a wooden canoe. A plaque reads: "I am Seaman, Captain Meriwether Lewis' dog. I made the 8,000 mile trip with Lewis & Clark in the years 1804-1806. In October we camped across the river from here."
