The former Town Hall was built in 1913 in the Federation Free Classical style with a classical entry portico which protrudes from the front facade. Double classical columns support the portico's rendered pediment with the name above. The building was superceeded by the newer Shire of Moora administration centre adjacent in 1959
Moora lies approx 180kms north of Perth on the old Perth to Geraldton Hwy, the shire covers over 3600 square kms and has a poulation of 2600.
