Nur PKW! - Werdohl, NRW, Germany - Unintentionally Funny Signs on Waymarking.com

When I saw this sign I laughed so hard that people began looking. Obviously somebody did not think while putting it there. It reads "Nur PKW" which means "only cars (opposed to trailers, trucks etc) are allowed to park here" and also states the times at which it is allowed to park here. What makes it so funny is that it is positioned exactly where you put your shopping cart after you are done shopping. I doubt that even one car would fit here. Would have to be a very very small one. On the other hand maybe the shopping car(t)s are considered to be the said vehicles. Then I would love to see where they go after hours, when it is forbidden to be parked here.

The way less funny part of the explanation is, that I think this sign has been here for ages and was just forgotten. The parking times indicate roughly what shopping hours used to be 20 years ago (9am to 7pm on workdays and 8am to 1pm on saturdays) plus minus 15 minutes to arrive and leave. The shop now selling groceries here has way more modern business hours and is open from 8am to 8pm 6 days a week. Maybe cars could park here back in the days and during a remodeling the carts got here and the sign was forgotten.
Still laughed my ass off!
