The National Register's Nomination Form will provide plenty of detailed reading about this home, but essentially, it is worthy of National Register status because it is a beautiful and large example of a 20th century Classical Revival home. Additionally, William B. Hamilton was an oilman and civic leader (and took a turn as mayor of Wichita Falls from 1944-1948), while his wife, Pearl Bess Walker Hamilton, was involved in local civic and philanthropic affairs.
