Completed in 1843, the church served as a religious site as well as a meetinghouse for the town for 100 years. The belfry contains a large bronze bell.

Completed in 1843, the church served as a religious site as well as a meetinghouse for the town for 100 years. It is a white Greek Revival structure with the gable end prominently facing the street. The three stage tower does contain a large bronze bell.
