"She was formerly employed as a receptionist at St. Ann’s Basilica Shrine. Betty was honored as the first passionist associate member of Province of St. Paul of the Cross at St. Ann’s Basilica. She was a member of the Eucharistic ministers, and St. Ann’s choir, Schola and the parish council.
She served as past president of the St. Ann’s Society, secretary of the St. Ann’s Mission Club and was a member of the Passionist Confraternity. She also served as past president of the Postal Women’s Auxiliary and Lincoln Heights Legion of Women’s Auxiliary. "
