Another well-maintained cemetery in Day County.
Situated just north of Butler, SD, this community cemetery has many trees interspersed among the graves. Trees surround the cemetery and there is fence line as well.
The town of Butler is almost a ghost town, with very few residents living there. The population was less than 20 according to the 2010 census.
Just a historical note, the town was named after Harrison Butler, the original owner of the town site.
