In the chancel north wall is a 14th century effigy in a restored recess with a quatrefoil frieze below.
According to the church leaflet it is possibly that of William la Zouche, vicar of Yaxley 1334. Although according to this link (
visit link) he was more likely rector of Yaxley, Huntingdonshire (now Cambridgeshire) during that time.
