In the chancel north wall is a 14th century effigy in a restored recess with a quatrefoil frieze below.

According to the church leaflet it is possibly that of William la Zouche, vicar of Yaxley 1334. Although according to this link (visit link) he was more likely rector of Yaxley, Huntingdonshire (now Cambridgeshire) during that time.
