"For 30 years he worked at the Nay Aug Park greenhouse, 11 of which with the NEIU Special Education unit. During his time at Nay Aug, with pride, honor and glory to our country, he would plant flowers in front of the Everhart Museum in the shape of the U.S. flag. He was dedicated to working with children as they enriched his life in many ways. Pat was an avid gardener who not only enjoyed planting flowers in the spring, but also took great pride in his bountiful garden which he generously shared with all...In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for the beautification of Nay Aug Park in memory of Pat will be established."
