This memorial is a plaque on the headstone of the Schell Family. Frederick Stanley Schell was 2nd Lieutenant of the 130th Heavy Battery R.G.A.

Frederick died in Morcourt, France on August 22nd, 1918. This date is significant as it is the day after the start of the Second Battle of the Somme and part of the Hundred Days Offensive.

He is buried at the Heath British Cemetery in Harbonnieres, France..
