Jules Grévy is President of the French Republic from January 30, 1879 to December 2, 1887, the date of his resignation following the scandal of decorations.
He was buried in the vault of a family chapel, which he had conceived during his lifetime and paid for his money.
Predicting the damage that could be caused by the proximity of the water circulating under the cemetery, the vault was sealed.
With him lie his wife, his daughter Alice and her husband Daniel Wilson, as well as the governess and one of her granddaughters.
Belonging to the Republic, it is remarkable for its size and shape (a dome reflecting the Masonic obedience of Grevy).
