I recovered this U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark from 1954 in good condition. This disk is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 4141'. The NGS datasheet description is adequate for station recovery although the abandoned farmhouse is now gone. My more accurate coordinates will place you very close to this mark.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 1.2 MI S FROM LOOKOUT. 1.2 MILES SOUTH ALONG A PAVED ROAD FROM THE POST OFFICE AT LOOKOUT, 0.5 MILE SOUTH OF THE JUNCTION OF A GRAVELED ROAD LEADING EAST TO ADIN, ACROSS THE ROAD FROM AN ABANDONED FARMHOUSE, AT A T FORMED BY WOODEN FENCE LINES, 30 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 17 1/2 FEET WEST OF A POWER LINE POLE SUPPORTING A TRANSFORMER, 2 1/2 FEET WEST OF THE CORNER FENCE POST, 1.3 FEET NORTHWEST OF A WITNESS POST, ABOUT 1 FOOT LOWER THAN THE ROAD, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 0.4 FOOT ABOVE THE GROUND.
