Lokalita se nachází v blízkosti obce Nemcicky v nadmorské výšce cca 250 – 290 m. Výmera prírodní památky je približne 3,3 ha. Jedná se o enklávu xerotermních spolecenstev stepních trávníku a širokolistých suchých trávníku s výskytem vstavacovitých. Na tento biotop jsou rovnež vázány charakteristické druhy bezobratlých živocichu. Území je význacné svou druhovou rozmanitostí výskytem mnoha zvlášte chránených druhu nebo druhu uvedených v cerveném seznamu.

Pocetné zastoupení má na této lokalite silne svetlomilná trešen krovitá (Prunus fruticosa).Jedná se o teplomilný druh, který muže pod povrchem pudy vypouštet cetné podzemní výhony, takže na vhodných lokalitách vytvárí husté porosty (polykormony), které jsou však geneticky jedinou rostlinou.

Navzdory nepatrné rozloze je území významným refugiem rady teplomilných druhu hmyzu v jinak prevážne zemedelské krajine.Mužeme uvést napr.: otakárka fenyklového (Papilio machaon), který patrí k našim nejkrásnejším denním motýlum. Neméne krásná a pestrobarevná je i jeho housenka. S tímto druhem se mužeme setkat zejména na výslunných stráních, stepích ci lesostepích. Z dálších motýlu zde mužeme videt napríklad modráska vicencového (Polyommatus thersites), a modráska tolicového (Cupido decoloratus).

Jen opravdu pozorný návštevník objeví na první pohled nenápadnou, ale o to více svým vzezrením zajímavejší kudlanku nábožnou (Mantis religiosa), která dokáže dokonale využít svého maskování pri lovu "ze zálohy".Kudlanka nábožná je kriticky ohroženým druhem.

Hlavácek jarní (Adonis vernalis), je velice atraktivním druhem, který spolecne s koniklecem velkokvetým vítá príchod jara mezi prvními. Velké žluté kvety zárí v bohatých trsech na suchých výslunných stráních a stepích již v prubehu dubna. Patrí k silne ohroženým druhum.

Z kriticky ohrožených druhu rostlin je to petiprstka hustokvetá (Gymnadenia densiflora), ze silne ohrožených druhu vstavac vojenský (Orchis militaris), z ohrožených pak napr. kruštík bahenní (Epipactis palustris), hvezdnice zlatovlásek (Aster linosyris), kozinec vicencovitý (Astragalus onobrychis) nebo len tenkolistý (Linum tenuifolium). Lokalita Strací je zajímavá i tím, že zde mužem najít zároven dva druhy petiprstek jak je uvedeno výše a potom dále.


Modrásek hnedoskvrnný (Polyommatus daphnis) patrí mezi zástupce modrásku výslunných strání, suchých stepních lokalit a teplomilných trávníku. Vyžaduje mozaiku raných sukcesních stádií, a proto je pro jeho ochranu nutné mozaikove síct nebo krátkodobe prepásat.


Petiprstka žežulník (Gymnadenia conopsea), je jednou z našich orchidejí, která v minulosti patrila k hojným druhum. V dusledku zmen obhospodarování lucních porostu došlo na nekterých lokalitách k celkovému oslabení jejich populací.

V dobe kvetu propujcuje hvezdnice chlumní (Aster amellus), lokalitám, kde se vyskytuje, slabe vanilkovou vuni. Její puvabné modrofialové kvety se žlutým stredem jsou v pozdním léte a na podzim ozdobou suchých trávníku.

The locality is located near the village Nemcicky at an altitude of 250 - 290 m. The area of ??the natural monument is approximately 3.3 ha. It is an enclave of xerotherm communities of steppe lawns and broad-leaved dry lawns with orchids. Characteristic species of invertebrate animals are also bound to this biotope. The territory is distinguished by its species diversity by the occurrence of many specially protected species or species listed in the red list.

        Numerous representations have a strong blooming cherry (Prunus fruticosa). This is a thermophilous species, which can drain numerous subterranean shoots under the soil so that they form dense stands (polycormons), which are the only genetically unique plants.

       In spite of its small size, the area is an important refugium of thermophilous insects in otherwise predominantly agricultural landscapes. We can mention, for example: Papilio machaon, one of our most beautiful butterflies. No less beautiful and colorful is his caterpillar. This species can be found especially on sloping slopes, steppes or forest steps. From the butterfly distances we can see here, for example, Blue-eyed Blue (Polyommatus thersites), and Cupido decoloratus.

       Only a very attentive visitor will appear at first sight inconspicuous, but more by his appearance of an interesting religious mantis (Mantis religiosa), who can perfectly use his masking in hunting "from the deposit." Religious praying man is a critically endangered species.

       Adonis vernalis is a very attractive species, which, together with a velvet flower conquer, welcomes the arrival of spring among the first. Large yellow flowers shine in rich trunks on dry slopes and steppes already during April. It belongs to heavily endangered species.

       Of the critically endangered plant species, it is a five-finger thicket (Gymnadenia densiflora), of the highly endangered species Orchis militaris, of which there are threats such as Epipactis palustris, Aster linosyris, Astragalus onobrychis, Or Linum tenuifolium. Strací's location is also interesting because we can find here two types of five bones as mentioned above and then on.

      
       Brown-spotted Blue (Polyommatus daphnis) is a representative of the blue-covered slopes, dry steppe sites and thermophilous lawns. It requires a mosaic of early succession stages and therefore it is necessary to protect the mosaic sieve or to short-pass it.
 

       Five-fingered gem (Gymnadenia conopsea) is one of our orchids, which in the past belonged to abundant species. As a result of changes in the management of meadows, some populations have experienced an overall weakening of their populations.

       At the time of flowering, the Aster amellus, the localities where it occurs, lends a faint vanilla scent. Its charming blue-violet flowers with a yellow center are in the late summer and in autumn the adornment of dry lawns.
