This self guided walking tour begins at the site of the first St. Paul's Mission originally built in 1830. A new building was completed in 1848 and restoration began in 1939.

As you continue there is a monument provided by the Kiwanis, that is now on National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

As you precede toward the Columbia River there is a very interesting sharpening stone, views of the river, the Old Burying Grounds and signs for Fort Colville and Kettle Falls.

We were there in late October the trail was open, though perhaps in the winter months it will be more difficult to use the trail.
