DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1960 AT THOMPSONS. THIS BENCH MARK IS AT THOMPSONS, 9 RAILS WEST OF THE PAVED ROAD CROSSING ON THE L. AND N. RAILROAD, 34 FT. WEST OF A POINT OF A SWITCH, 27 FT. SOUTH OF THE SOUTH RAIL, THE DISK IS CEMENTED IN A DRILL HOLE IN THE FACE OF A ROCK LEDGE ABOUT 3 FT. HIGHER THAN THE TRACK AND SET VERTICALLY.
