Ces deux fontaines monumentales accolées étaient peut être dédiées à deux saints différents. L’une des niches est aveugle, l’autre possède encore la statue de saint Maudez. Il en coulait, selon la tradition, de l’une de l’eau douce et de l’autre de l’eau salée. Elles possédaient le pouvoir de guérir furoncles et panaris. On voit encore le trou par lequel on pouvait mettre le doigt à traiter.
These two monumental fountains could be dedicated to two different saints. One of the niches is blind, the other still has the statue of St. Maudez. According to tradition, it flowed from one of the fresh water and the other from the salt water. They possessed the power of curing furuncles and panaris. One can still see the hole through which one could put the finger to treat.
