CDF Fire helicopter 106 is an excellent fire fighting tool. Based at a station next to a reservoir, it is in an ideal location to quickly drop down and fill up it's 324 gallon bucket. A 15 gallon foam tank above each skid adds to the effectiveness. The captain and the pilot are seated in the front leaving room for nine in the back with plenty of room for protective gear and hand tools. This helicopter is followed on the ground by it's own support vehicle with extra supplies and extra fuel for when it just can't make it to a refueling station.
