From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NNW on US20 for 1.6 miles to the corner on the left.

Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears N88.9°E from T14S R10E S31 SE 1/16 COR, WAYPOINT WMVRHV, 1316' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-5/8" brass cap on a steel pipe; rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is W, about 760' from the centerline of US20 at a NE fence corner post. There is a wood lath stake and a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal on a Carsonite post which bears S, 32" distant. Also, there are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals on a second Carsonite post which bears NE, 12" from the corner. Found two ponderosa pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags. There is an ATTENTION sign on the one in the SE quadrant, and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the other in the NW.


What property is this mark defining?:
Private property SW from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land; see also survey CS00090 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors office.
