Kunstner: Jørn Larsen. Maler. 1926-2004. Uddannet på teknisk Skole og et semester på Kunstakademiet i København. Begyndte 1963 at arbejde i marmor og granit. Har modtaget adskillige udmærkelser og er repræsenteret på en del danske kunstmuseer.
Datering: 1983
Type: Skulptur i armeret beton beklædt med 100 fliser på 44x44 cm af svensk poleret granit. Skulpturen er udformet som en gigantisk terning, placeret på et af terningens hjørner.
Placering: Møllergade/Havnegade. Oprindeligt placeret foran Den katolske Kirke (Sct. Knuds Kirke), men blev flyttet i forbindelse med vejomlægninger i 2007.
Fakta: Givet af Statens kunstfond med 75 % og Svendborg Kommune med 25 %. Fra kunstnerens side var Terningen tænkt set i samspil med de øvrige omgivelser på Sct. Knuds Plads, de blå chaussesten og træerne, der i 1983 fandtes på pladsen

Artist: Jørn Larsen. Meter. From 1926 to 2004. Graduated at the Technical School and a semester at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Started in 1963 to work in marble and granite. Has received numerous awards and is represented in a number of Danish art museums.

Type: Sculpture in reinforced concrete clad with 100 tiles of 44x44 cm of Swedish polished granite. The sculpture is shaped like a giant dice, located on one of the corners of the dice.
Location: Møllergade / Havnegade. Originally located in front of the Catholic Church (Sct. Knuds Church), but was moved in connection with road repositions in 2007.
Facts: Given by the State Art Foundation with 75% and Svendborg Municipality with 25%. From the artist's side, the dice was thought to be in interaction with the other surroundings on Sct. Knuds Plads, the blue chaise stone and the trees found in 1983 in the square
