The station features many decorative tiles and other decorations. Even the usual metal station signs are replaced by ceramics. The station is on a private line that has the appearance of being run by volunteers. The schedule is irregular and trains run on about 90 minutes basis. It serves mostly tourists visiting Cape Inubo, which is a 15 minutes walk away and has spectacular views.
