Friends of the Columbia Wetlands sign board which the Dale Elizabeth Frazer plaque is attached is in a nice pull out area that overlooks the Columbia River. There is also a BC Heritage marker at this location.

Attached to the lower left corner of the sign board Friends of the Columbia Wetlands is a small plaque in memory of Dale Elizabeth Frazer.

"A Friend to this Place"

This sign board explains the importance of the Columbia Wetlands for migratory birds which include nesting duck and blue heron, and the preservation of native grasslands and trees in the area.

The Columbia Wetlands is one the largest contiguous wetland habitats in North America and provides a protected habitat for wildlife in the area including moose, bear, elk and beaver.

This pullout has great views of the valley below.
