This so-called "Persiluhr" (Persil clock) is located on a lawn at Lindengarten in Wismar.
Persil is a detergent from Henkel. In 1987, the company celebrated the 80th anniversary of Persil and offered in this context the free installation of these clocks in places, in which a Persil clock had been found in previous years.
The original clock in Wismar built around 1920 and this replica was probably built shortly after the "Wende" (about 1990) on the present place.
Clock Description:
White dial with black hands. The numbering is Arabic from 1 to 12 and the edge of the dial is provided with the hour markings in thick and the minute markings in thin black stripes.
