The sign board is located at the viewing platform overlooking Reflection Lake with many ducks and geese in the area.
The Columbia Wetlands is a vital area for local wildlife, migrating birds and ducks and provides a protected nesting and feeding areas.
The Columbia Wetlands is the fourth largest watershed in North America stretching from Columbia Lake to Donald. The Columbia River flows into Columbia Lake meandering south into Washington and continues west bordering Washington and Oregon borders and reaching the Pacific Ocean.
The Columbia River makes it way south from Trail, British Columbia not far from where we live and continues across the US/BC border.
