DE: Duckes
Der Duckes, bei den Engersern Bürgern der "Duckesje" genannt, ist ein ehemaliger Wachturm der Engerser Stadtmauer. Er wurde 1357 erbaut und wurde damals auch als Gefängnis genutzt. 1979 wurde er restauriert und mit einem neuen Turmaufbau versehen. Er befindet sich gegenüber der Katholischen Kirche St. Martin in der Klosterstraße.

The Duckes, called Engersers of the "Duckesje", is a former watchtower of the Engerser Stadtmauer. It was built in 1357 and was also used as a prison at that time. In 1979 it was restored and equipped with a new tower construction. It is located opposite the Catholic Church of St. Martin in Klosterstraße.
