EN: This fountain is located on the road at a farm in Scherz. The trough has the typical metal rings of fountains used for watering cattle. However, the trough is round and not very high. This combination is quite unusual. Also unusual is that the fountain columns with the urn-shaped top stands on the street side, so you pass behind the fountain. The column stands slightly inclined, perhaps it has been hit by vehicles.
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht bei einem Bauernhof in Scherz an der Strasse. Der Trog hat die typischen Metallringe von Brunnen, die zum Tränken von Vieh benutzt wurden. Allerdings ist der Trog rund und nicht sehr hoch. Diese Kombination ist ziemlich ungewöhnlich. Ebenfalls ungewöhnlich ist, dass der Brunnenstock mit dem urnenförmigen Aufsatz an der Strassenseite steht, man also hinter dem Brunnen vorbei fährt oder geht. Der Brunnenstock steht leicht schief, vielleicht wurde er schon von Fahrzeugen angefahren.
