In the replicated church ship of the Marienkirche in Wismar, the ship which was heavily damaged in the Second World War was blown up in 1960, this bronze sculpture is located.
The title is "Sofia lying" and the sculpture was created in 1991 by Bärbel Dieckmann (born 1961 in Berlin).
The sculpture exhibited here was cast in 2005.
