EN: This stone cross stands in the east of Breitenbach at a junction.
The cross is between three and four meters high and has a small metal figure. At the top stands INRI, on the sidebeams the year 1833. Behind the figure are some additional letters, which are partially covered, perhaps: "UMW lo." I do not know what that means, but it looks like the figure has been added later on.
DE: Dieses Steinkreuz steht im Osten von Breitenbach an einer Abzweigung.
Das Kreuz ist zwischen drei und vier Metern hoch und hat eine kleine Metallfigur. An der Spitze steht INRI, auf dem Querbalken das Jahr 1833. Hinter der Figur stehen noch weitere Buchstaben, die zum Teil verdeckt werden, vielleicht: "UMW lo." Ich weiss nicht, was das bedeutet, es sieht so aus, wie wenn die Figur nachträglich angebracht wurde.
