From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NNW on US20 for 3.0 miles to the corner on the right.

Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears N0.7°W from T14S R10E S30 31 E 1/16 COR, WAYPOINT WMVR3M, 2641' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-5/8" brass cap on a steel pipe; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is E, about 0.4 mile from the centerline of US20, on a N-S fence line. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes. The one in the SW quadrant is decorated with a LOCATION POSTER and a BEARING TREE ribbon.


What property is this mark defining?:
