From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally N on Pine Street for 2.2 miles. Park and hike cross-country about 0.5 miles W to the corner.

Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present sixteenth corner bears S0.6°E from T14S R10E S29 C 1/4 COR, WAYPOINT WMVPHX, 1309' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on a steel pipe; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner is at a SE fence corner post. There are two U-posts each with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs. One bears N, 30" from the corner, and the other bears W, 29" distant. There is also an old-style PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign mounted on a L-post which bears E, 11" distant. Found two western junipers with partly healed scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs.
