Über das Rathaus von Colditz ist nicht viel bekannt. Das Gebäude wurde im Renaissancestil erbaut. Die erste Rathausuhr wurde 1559 installiert. Der Haupteingang befindet sich am süd-östlichen Ende des Marktplatzes unweit des Treppenaufgangs zum Schloss.

Colditz ist eine Stadt im Landkreis Leipzig, die im Tal der Zwickauer Mulde liegt. Erstmals erwähnt wurde die Stadt Colditz im Jahre 1265. Colditz ist vor allem durch das Colditzer Schloss und dessen Nutzung während des Nationalsozialismus international bekannt.

It is not much known about the town hall of Colditz. The building was built in the style of Renaissance. The first town hall clock was installed in 1559. The main entrance is at the south-east end of the market square, not far from the stairs to the castle.

Colditz is a town in the administrative district of Leipzig, which is located in the valley of the river Zwickauer Mulde. The town Colditz was mentioned for the first time in 1265. Colditz is famous all over the world because of the Colditz Castle and its use during the National Socialism.
