This wooden bench has five wooden slats for the seat, and another five for the backrest. The curved metal legs are bolted to a concrete slab.

The etched rectangular stainless steel plaque is screwed to the 2nd top backrest slat, and the wooden slat has had a section chiseled out enough to recess the plaque. The are two Rotary International logos on the plaque, which reads:

"In Memory of
Archie Barr
11.11.1923-02.08.2010
Irish eyes are smiling down on you
Loving Husband, father & Proud Rotarian
Now resting in the Longyard"

From a plaque in the area for past Rotarian Presidents of the Laurieton 'Chapter', Archie Barr was the President of the Rotary Club of Laurieton 1982-83.
