The Columbia River headwaters begins in Canal Flats at Columbia Lake and continues through Trail, British Columbia before crossing the border into Washington. It is about 300 km from Canal Flats to Trail.

It is the fourth largest river basin, the river flowing through Washington and Oregon before reaching the Pacific Ocean.

There is little known about this mural, but easily recognizable as the Columbia River.
