This bench is located on the tow path of the Llangollen Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal at Marbury Lock 10.
The brown wooden bench has a slatted seat and back with arm rests. It is set on a concrete base. A plaque on the side of the bench indicates who supplied the bench, and is inscribed as follows;
'SUPPLIED BY
SHROPSHIRE UNION
CANAL SOCIETY'
The black metal memorial plaque is inscribed with white lettering as follows:-
'In Loving Memory Of
