The Sanford Museum is set on two acres in the village of Sanford. The museum was created by the Sanford Historical Society in 1970 with a school house built in 1910 added in that same year. Since that time 8 other historical building have been erected on the grounds. Along with the buildings there are a number of railcars and a vintage steam engine.
The Museum is open Memorial day to Labor Day
