I recovered this California Department of Transportation control monument in good condition. There is a nearby metal witness post that aids in recovery. The monument is a 2.5" aluminum disk monumented on top of a circular concrete monument and flush with the ground and about 25-30 feet southwest of the Highway 139 and on top of a small embankment. This control monument does not exist in the NGS database. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this mark.
