Ce motel sur trouve au relais situé au kilomètre 211 de la Route 389 Nord à Manic 5, Québec.
La route 389 (R-389) est une route régionale québécoise située sur la rive nord du fleuve Saint-Laurent. Elle dessert la région administrative de la Côte-Nord. C'est la plus longue route secondaire du Québec et c'est aussi la seule route provinciale québécoise à se rendre au-delà du 51e parallèle.
Débutant à l'angle de la route 138 à Baie-Comeau, la route 389 relie cette ville à la frontière du Labrador sur une distance de 567 km. Elle longe en premier lieu la rivière Manicouagan, ensuite la rive est du réservoir Manicouagan, puis traverse les contreforts des monts Groulx et pour arriver à la ville minière de Fermont. À la frontière de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador, elle devient la Route 500 (Translabradorienne).
La route passe à travers une région sauvage, alternant entre des sections asphaltées et en gravier.
Ce relais, ainsi que Relais Gabriel situé au kilomètre 317, sont les seuls endroits sur la route où on peut manger, se loger et surtout, acheter de la gasoline. Si tu neglige de le faire, et bien, bonne chance...

This motel is situated at the relay located at kilometer 211 of Route 389 North at Manic 5, Quebec.
Route 389 (R-389) is a regional road located on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. It serves the administrative region of the North Shore. It is Quebec's longest secondary road and is also the only provincial road in Quebec to go beyond the 51st parallel.
Beginning at the corner of Highway 138 in Baie-Comeau, Route 389 connects this town to the Labrador-Newfoundland border for a distance of 567 km. It first runs along the Manicouagan River, then the east bank of the Manicouagan reservoir, then crosses the foothills of the Groulx Mountains to reach the mining town of Fermont. On the Newfoundland and Labrador border, it becomes Route 500 (Trans Labrador).
The road goes through the wilderness, alternating between asphalted and gravel sections.
This relay, as well as Relais Gabriel located at kilometer 317, are the only places on the road where you can eat, sleep and most important, buy gasoline. If you don't do that, well, good luck...

Justification for Recommendation:
As previously written, you don't have many "civilized places" on this road while traveling from Quebec to Labrador-Newfoundland. But after a visit of Manic-5, it's a great place to stay before returning to Baie Comeau or continuing your trip to Labrador-Newfoundland, which is a real adventure. Once in the lifetime experience!
