In Boston's Roslindale neighborhood, within Adams park, is this monument for World War I, and, later, the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Adams Park is located in the center of Roslindale, where Washington Street, Cummins Highway, and South Street meet at a traffic circle. The monument is located at the southwestern end of the park.

The memorial is described in the Smithsonian inventory as follows:

"The memorial consists of a center vertical slab adorned with a relief of a standing female in classical dress clutching a sword to her chest with her proper left hand and holding a palm leaf in her lowered proper right hand. Three stars in relief appear in a row above her head. At her feet are insignia for the army and the navy. Two low rectangular inscription slabs flank the relief."

The inscriptions are as follows:

"(On front, below figure:) 1917-1918/ROSLINDALE HONORS ITS VICTORIOUS SONS AND DAUGHTERS IN WORLD WAR I IN THE GLORY OF THEIR YOUTH WE SHALL REMEMBER THEM/ROSLINDALE HONORS THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED IN KOREA AND VIETNAM unsigned"

The memorial is in good condition.
