In Boston's Roslindale neighborhood, within Adams Park, is this memorial for those who served in World War II.
The park is located in the village center, where Washington Street, Cummins Highway, and South Street come together in a traffic circle.
The monument is located on the northern part of the park, along one of the walkways.
The monument is an urn shape roughly six feet tall and is round. It has a base with the following text:
"Dedicated in honor of our men and women who have served the United States of America in World War II
May 13, 1945"
The urn has the following encircling it:
"United War Mothers of America Inc. Chapter Four"
