The Golden Visitor Centre is in an interest building with its unusual roof line. It is much larger than it appears from the front. They offer maps, travel guides, suggestions for dinner, help planning your trip which include booking an activity or accommodation. There is a selection of destination travel guides and maps that span beyond Golden. Public free Wi-Fi is also available.
Golden has some of the most spectacular scenery in British Columbia, and rich in history and many cultural places of interest.
Golden is near six of the most stunning National Parks Canada has to offer: Banff, Glacier, Jasper, Kootenay, Mount Revelstoke and Yoho.
