From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally N on Pine Street for 2.0 miles. Park and hike cross-country about 1.0 mile W to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on a steel pipe in a collar of stones; rising 5"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The section corner is marked by a 38" tall wood lath stake at a SE fence corner post. Found a ponderosa pine and three western junipers with partly healed scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags on the facing sides and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?: Cascade Meadow Ranch property NW of the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land; see also Oregon Corner Restoration Record, Index File No. 0233
