First International Bank & Trust's flag has a white field, a large numeral 1 with "First International Bank & Trust" in black block letters, "Member FDIC" in gray under that and "live first" in red script which is centered at the bottom of the flag.
First International Bank & Trust started in May 1910 as Farmer’s State Bank in Arnegard, North Dakota.
In 1934 the bank's name was changed to First International Bank; the only bank in McKenzie County N.D. to survive the Great Depression.
In 1984 the bank merged with another bank and became First International Bank.
In 1992 First International Bank & Trust was created when the bank was granted the right to manage people's money, for a fee; Trust Powers.
