Part of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, this blacksmith shop is located in the historic village of Glen Haven. The blacksmith shop was built in the 1920’s and has been restored for the public to enjoy. In the summer, volunteers demonstrate transformation of iron into useful tools and visitors are encouraged to ask questions. The shop is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
